Sephora Honey Hand Polish and Almond Hand Balm Review India

A spur of the moment purchase that I do not regret. (much)

On 1st January this year, when the novelty of the new year was at its peak, I went to Sephora to pick few gifts. I saw this tiny gift set with two chubby tubes of hand products and somehow gave in to the temptation.

Price: I paid Rs 1200 for this limited edition set which by the way is still available after eight months. (Today, I will definitely not buy something like this because now I know better - money in bank account looks better than money in my beauty stash that needs to be thrown away in three years.)

Sephora Honey Hand Polish A sugar scrub with an intense smell of honey. (Even wonder how honey does not have a scent but some combination of scent just remind you tasting honey) The scrub has an average exfoliation properly. I have not used it on the face but have tried on arms and elbow. It is good for what it is supposed to do.

Ingredients: Sucrose, Isopropyl Palmitate, PEG-7 Glyceryl Cocoate, Ricinus Communis (Castor) Seed Oil, Hydrogenated Coconut Oil, Trihydroxystearin, Butyrospermum Parkii Butter (Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea Butter)), Glyceryl Stearate, PEG-40 Hydrogenated Castor Oil, Tipa-Laureth Sulfate, Hydrogenated Castor Oil, Aqua (Water), Parfum (Fragrance), Phenoxyethanol, Propylene Glycol, Glycerin, Tocopherol, Helianthus Annuus (Sunflower) Seed Oil, Mel Extract (Honey Extract), CI 19140 (Yellow 5), Sodium Benzoate, CI 14700 (Red 4), Potassium Sorbate, CI 42090 (Blue 1), Citric Acid.

Sephora Almond Hand Balm A heavy lotion that has a very nutty scent that is very close to real almond oil. It absorbs quickly and is deeply moisturizing.

Ingredients: Water, Isononyl Isononanoate, Butyrospermum Parkii Butter (Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea Butter)), Glycerin, Paraffin, Glyceryl Rosinate, Hydrogenated Coconut Oil, Oryza Sativa (Rice) Starch, Cetyl Alcohol, C10-18 Triglycerides, Hydroxyethyl Acrylate/Sodium Acryloyldimethyl Taurate Copolymer, Cetearyl Alcohol, Hydroxyacetophenone, Parfum (Fragrance), Phenoxyethanol, Cera Alba (Beeswax), Stearic Acid, Palmitic Acid, Allantoin, Cetearyl Glucoside, Glyceryl Oleate, Olea Europaea (Olive) Oil Unsaponifiables, Polyglyceryl-3 Polyricinoleate, Tetrasodium EDTA, Xanthan Gum, Citric Acid, Polysorbate 60, Sorbitan Isostearate, Sodium Hydroxide, Prunus Amygdalus Dulcis (Sweet Almond) Fruit Extract, Sodium Benzoate, Potassium Sorbate, CI 42090 (Blue 1), CI 19140 (Yellow 5).

Overall: Good products but overpriced. This is not something I will buy with my sane mind. I mean I paid Rs 600 for a hand cream! I will go with the several variants that The Body Shop offers. Also, TBS allows you to recycle their empty tubes and bottles whereas there is no case like that for Sephora.

  1. I love ur writing style so i come over to read even your hand cream review even though I know I will nvr buy a hand cream ever. . My normal moisturizer can do that for me.. .

But yeah all ur talk about money looking good in bank is so relatable. . I used to be this woman who just stocked things up coz it's on sale but iam wiser now n can resist sales which sounds so mature. Guess finally growing up.
