The Body Shop Sale season is on. I was about to suggest what to buy and what not do when I realized that the review of a few products was not up. I do remember updating the review. Are they lost in the drafts folder? Anyways, here is the review of the Spa of the World Firming range. This review is after one year of use.

The Body Shop Spa of the World French Grape Seed Scrub: LOVE IT! I thought that the African Xemenia Body Scrub was my favorite body scrub and nothing could top that. This one did. When I tried it at the store, I had little or no hopes from it. It looks a thick lotion with some small granules and some black particles. Later, I realized that it is a sugar scrub with grape seed powder and evening primrose seeds. It is a great scrub because it does not foam up so, you can work with it for longer. No matter how long you use it, it won't give you dry skin probably because it has sugar and grapeseed oil. Hence, it is slightly moisturizing as well. When you use the body scrub, it does not even feel harsh on the skin like most exfoliators but it still removes all dead skin. The light fragrance is soothing. The price tag of Rs 2595 for a grape seed scrub looks big but it is a 350ml tub. Also, it is currently on flat 50%! Grab it.

The Body Shop Spa of the World Ethiopian Green Coffee Cream: The perfect combination after the body scrub. You do not need it but I do love it. It had a fluffy unique texture that seeps in the skin without any sticky feel. Great for summers as well. Again, the price is insane at Rs 3095 but currently on 50% off.

The Body Shop Spa of the World Thai Makrut Lime Firming Oil: I always push people to body oils over body creams. Possibly the only time, I not going to do so. It has a light lemon fragrance. Luckily not like kitchen soap lemon scent. It smells nice. It absorbs easily but does take its sweet time like most body oil. Somehow, I cannot justify the price because there are several other options in the market. Plus, the smell is nothing out of the world. So, unless you want to have the collection, you can skip it. I somehow cannot recommend others to buy a Rs 2195 body oil though it is at 50% off.

The Body Shop Spa of the World Balkan Juniper Body Wash: I think this is the most expensive body wash from The Body Shop at Rs 795. It is still behind Bath and Body Works but it is expensive. I am not a big fan of this body wash. It is good as a body wash. The smell might not be everyone's cup of tea - bit manly in fact. But, under no circumstances, it justifies the price tag. You can skip it.

There are four shower gels in the Spa of the World collection. I will review them next.

Overall: The Body Shop Spa of the World collection has some great products but none of them is priced less. Luckily, the 50% sales are now on and one thing that you should not miss if you are looking for a body scrub is the French Grape Seed Body Scrub. You can skip all the other products in the firming range. If you can splurge then please the Ethiopian Coffee Body Scrub - the texture is like no other.

You see read the review of other The Body Shop Spa of the World products if you thinking of doing a haul.

Love,
Shayoni
