The Body Shop Shea Butter Shower Cream and Exfoliating Sugar Scrub Review

I have been using Shea Butter products from The Body Shop for a long time and they hold a special place in my heart. (Along with Satsuma range, Moringa Shower Gel, and Rainforest shampoo). This is more like an appreciation post than a review post because I have already reviewed them last year.

In this post, I will talk about two of The Body Shop Bath products from the shea butter range - Shower Cream and Exfoliating Sugar Scrub. (And compare with Bath and Body Works products).

TBS Shea Shower Cream is one of the most moisturizing bath product. There is a reason why they call it the shower cream and it is 100% justified. The texture is almost like a body lotion. Nevertheless, it foams and cleans properly without leaving behind a tacky feel. Some said that the ones from Bath and Body Works is better. I actually got one from them to test the fact. (The one is I got is from my favorite from BBW - Sweet Pea. I will review it later). I am not saying that the BBW is mighty better than the TBS one but for the price difference (TBS is Rs350 and BBW is Rs 1195), I am far happy with TBS.

Now, coming to the Sugar Scrub. I was not even aware of this texture until 3 years ago. I always imagined that the scrubs were either creamy or jelly with exfoliating particles. But, this is different. This is a sugar scrub and probably the only one from The Body Shop. Guess, what I was told? Bath and Body Works does it better. Therefore, I got the scrub as well from BBW in Sweet Pea. Here the price is almost similar (TBS is Rs 1,195 and BBW is Rs 1495). I love both fragrances. However, BBW scrub comes in a tube. So, I have to give it more points for being hygienic and easy to use in the shower.

Overall: My love for TBS Shea range will never die. The shower cream is beautiful. I hope TBS thinks about tube packaging in the future.
