I was never a toner person. Then, I discovered La Roche Posay Astringent, and there has been no looking back. But, time and again many people have told me not to use a toner that has alcohol. I know I have to make a shift, but that is not happening anytime soon. Meanwhile, I am interested in trying new toners. Here I have not one but two truly unique toners. The Body Shop has these superfood masks you must have heard about. Extending the line, TBS launched these two toners.

The Body Shop British Rose Petal-Soft Gel Toner
They are serious when they say gel. It is almost like a runny aloe-vera gel. There is no alcohol so zero stinging feels. You can even use around eyes but it is not an eye cream so better be safe. . Plus, it is super soothing and fresh - both by texture and fragrance. It is like a light moisturizer. (But, do not use it as a moisturizer because it might feel sticky that way). There are some smashed rose petals as well which feels very luxurious. I am highly impressed with the product. Not sure how much ‘toning’ it does but it surely plumps up the skin and makes it look hydrated.

The Body Shop Chinese Ginseng and Rice Clarifying Milky Toner
With two of the celebrated Asian ingredients for skincare, I could not miss this one. I also have the same mask. The toner has the familiar fragrance of the face mask. This is also a moisturizing toner as it also has sesame oil. You are supposed to shake the bottle before use. The toner feels smooth on skin with zero stinging and zero sticky feeling. I am thinking of transferring this to a spray bottle so that I use it as a refreshing spinz.
