Acne-Free Skin with La Roche-Posay
La Roche Posay Effaclar Foaming Gel, Micro-Exfoliating Astringent Lotion, Effaclar Duo,
Effaclar K, Cicaplast Baume B5, Thermal Spring Water

It happens only at times that I develop an immense love for a skincare brand. The same happened with La Roche Posay. So, I got as many products from the brand that my hands could grab. Now, I have reached the point when I even need those products which are not retailed in India : P

Last month, was the worst for my skin and hair. All the after effects of ill health bombarded all together. I had numerous whiteheads and acne on my forehead and cheeks. They were not even in the mood of leaving, and several would come up every new day. La Roche Posay astringent and Effclar Duo is what I use to get rid of skin troubles. This time, I tried few other products as well. Here, is a summed up review of all my favorite La Roche Posay products.

(BTW, my health is not 100% perfect and the doctor has said that it will take months. I still facing intense hair fall issue).

La Roche Posay Effaclar Foaming Gel: I love this. As far as I can say, this is the only SLS product that I cannot live without. In fact, as I am living away from home for few days, I poured this into a little bottle and got it with me, If you have acne prone skin then do try it. You can read my complete review here.

La Roche Posay Effaclar Micro-Exfoliating Astringent Lotion

La Roche Posay Effaclar Micro-Exfoliating Astringent Lotion: Another of my favorite and one of the products that made me fall in love with the brand. It is beyond my understanding how a toner can be this great for acne skin. You can read my complete review with ingredients analysis (comparison with Vichy Normaderm) here. Unfortunately, they stopped selling it in India. But, I recently Suchitra Vegi informed me on facebook that she contacted the brand and got to know that they are re-launching it soon. (Thanks, Suchitra). While I was waiting for it to come, I tried the Innisfree toner and liked it as well.

La Roche Posay Effaclar Duo: My most loved and just like the toner, repeatedly discussed product from LRP on this blog. It helps in vanishing away your acne. You apply it on raw acne, the skin on top and around start to come off in flakes and you are left with smoother skin. It dries up pimples quickly and stops new ones from coming up. Do not apply too much otherwise it will start to peel off. Do not use under makeup as it will make the makeup slip. Better yet, try it on when you are at home or at night only to reap the best benefits from the Effaclar Duo. Also, as it brings out the inner layer of skin, try to use sunscreen to save yourself from skin burns. (Yes, it is strong and effective. Hence, you need to be careful while using).

La Roche Posay Effaclar K: I got it last year from Delhi. It is like a light moisturizer. It that does not feel greasy, quickly absorbed, and gives smoother skin while it fights off acne. I used it generally after my skin starts to get better to save it from other skin issues. But, I have never used it continuously as I move to oils later on.

La Roche Posay Cicaplast Baume B5: Also a moisturizer but has a cream texture. Better than Effaclar K when you have dry skin naturally or because you had to use too much of Effaclar Duo. As I am still having few acne left on my forehead, I am using this. Being smaller in size, it is easy to travel with.

La Roche Posay Thermal Spring Water

La Roche Posay Thermal Spring Water: Not acne related but worth mention. I have been a person who uses rose water on her face religiously every night before going to bed. It is entirely new for me. But, it delivered. Review here.

And as I have already gone a bit off topic, I have to add here their I love their sunscreen. I tried La Roche-Posay sunscreen last year and faced no tanning issues.

Yes, I love their products. I wish they bring Serozinc in India.

Have you tried LRP products? Which ones your favorite? Do share what you do to get rid of acnes. Also, suggestions are welcome to fight hair fall that is caused because of ill health.
