This is the first post for 2014 and I wanted to start with this cute bottle. But, please please please don't be deceived by this cute looking bottle.

I discovered this in November when I just 'tried' it at store as it said 'Intense'. I went to the mall during lunch and my corner smelt of this the whole afternoon. I mean the complete corner! The silage of this perfume is HUMONGOUS.

If you get headaches with strong smells, then you can stop reading this right NOW!

Elie Saab Le Perfum Eau De Parfum INTENSE Review India
Elie Saab Le Perfum Eau De Parfum Intense

The scents of orange blossom and rose honey are what make the signature of the Elie Saab perfume line. Perfumer Francis Kurkdjian created this collection so that every part of it (every version of the perfume) depicts a period of daylight. The debut,Elie Saab Le Parfum from 2011, reflects the sparkling light of midday. The soft light of early morning is captured by the Eau de Toilette edition from 2012, while the magic moment of dusk is introduced with the new version Le Parfum Eau de Parfum Intense in Fall 2013.

"As the sun slips below the horizon, the senses become inflamed. Ultra-sensual, she steps forth in a shimmering sheath dress. The embodiment of ultimate femininity. A regal bearing, a confident stride… She knows that she will not be easily forgotten. And her fragrance reflects her persona, mysterious and enchanting. With her every move, she leaves behind floral and Oriental wisps of the Eau de Parfum Intense. An unforgettable trail, a reminiscence of her aura."

Le Parfum Eau de Parfum Intense fragrance is announced as ultra sensual and feminine. Its oriental-floral composition opens with bright orange blossom accord. The heart includes intoxicating and opulent flower of ylang-ylang mixed with rose honey. The base consists of patchouli and amber accord.

The fragrance is available in bottles of 30, 50 and 90 ml.

I personally like intense smell with huge silage for everyday use to make sure they last for 12 hours easily. Amber and Patchouli always attracts me In the end, this perfume tuned out to be something I could not ignore. PLUS, I had no perfume that comes in a old world type crystal type bottle

I got the tiniest 30ml bottle - the cutest of all 3 sizes. The bottle looks like those crystal bottles to store perfume oils at perfume makers. Me Likey!

Le Perfum EDP Intense is a warm and fuller smell of honey, amber and patchouli topped with bit of cinnamon and other spices. No doubt the perfume is meant for winters.

Elie Saab is serious when they say 'Intense'. Elie Saab EDP Intense have huge silage. I make sure not to spray more than once every morning otherwise it might  get tough for the person beside me to breathe. LOL The lasting power is comparable to Dior J'adore. The smells stays on my cloths even after first wash.

Elie Saab Le Perfum Eau De Parfum Intense Price in India

Elie Saab is priced at Rs 3050 for 30ml. And I got these freebies from Shoppers Stop with my purchase.

Great no?

Look at those flowers in the Kenzo Red pouch.....and there is a shower cream and a body lotion.....and 3 perfume vials.

I loved that Cartier Baiser Vole at store a lot. But, at that point my nose was confused with other perfumes that the sales assistants wanted me to try. I go this vial with loads of hope. Luckily, I didn't purchased it because now I realize that it smells like talcum powder on me.

Bottom line - Never buy a perfume because you liked it at store. There are many other smells at play. Apply a single perfume at store and then decide. Better if you can get vials to try at home and later.

But do take some risks at time. That is how I discovered Caroline Herrera EDP Sublime

Overall - If you want perfume to stay all day long (and even after!) and have no issues with warm full bodied smell then do try this.

Keep Smiling,
