I recently found a lot of posts -mostly compare posts which were taken long back but never worked on. Now, I edited them and here they are for you guys. First of all those posts are a comparison between the 7 black eyeliners/kohls - 5 pencils and 2 gels.
Black eyeliners or Kohls are generally the first makeup product that an Indian girl use and these are the most commonly used ones India. No Indian girl's vanity can be complete without one black Kajal or Eyeliner. I can never believe the opposite of this!
Pencil - Lakme Satin Kajal, Lakme Eyeconic Kajal, Maybelline Colossal Kajal, Bourjois Khol & Contour, Revlon Colorstay One Stroke Defining Eyeliner Blackest Black
Gel - Maybelline Drama Gel Black, MAC Fluideline Blacktrack
Clinique won my heart this time with awesome gift packs that it launched. This is just a first impressions review of the Whole Lotta Color Holiday Gift Box.
I hurried myself into posting this because it might not be available for long and I do not want you to miss it! It has 5 chubby sticks and the color selection is very nice – a cherry red, a rose, a brown, an orange and a pink – could you need anything else?
All gift sets are either bright orange or bright pink with a pink pull out and silver box.
What makes this a true value for money – it retails for 2050 INR which is almost like 400 INR each chubby stick…..let’s say the box is for 50. At 400 INR you are getting 1.2 gms while the full size is 3 gm and retails at around 1300.

Also, you get to try 5 colors which are very usable for everyday. I do not know when I will use Richer Raisin but then I can deal with it.
There are the Christmas Gift - From Me to Me!! LOL. I wanted these 2 Clinique Gift sets but the one here in Kolkata is inside Shopper Shop and due to some issues though they had the stock for a week they could not sell it. I felt like crying but finally the SA called on Xmas eve evening that he has them. Yes, a 'he' and the he was so excited with the gift sets himself and he kept aside few for his GF! How lucky is that girl to get makeup from her BF!
So, here is all I got for myself.

Look what I found - Wear Your Opinion. Other than a handful of brands, young guys in India does not have much fun tees producers. I was amazed by WYO when I stumbled upon their website once long back.
Every week they add a new design which sells at Rs 399 and after that its moved to archive and sold at Rs 449. 100% cotton, 180 g.s.m. The design he is wearing is UP now and so, for Rs 399.
Also, when they come with a design, they also post something in their FB with the pic. Know the 'something' of the following tee.
"Yeh Jo World Hai Na World Ismein Bahut Prakar Ke Praani Rehte Hai. But There Exists A Unique Species, They Look Like Humans But Unke Karmo Se Woh Gadhe Hote Hai. Aise Gadhe Har Jagah Paaye Jaate Hai. And Thanks To Our Government, Liberty Of Speech Is No Longer Valid. But Here Is A Better Idea, Wear This Colourful Tshirt And You Can Literally Kick Some Ass (Donkey Wala...)"

Being born with a head full of curly hair was not cool when I was a kid. Especially when I grew up in north east states and everyone having origins from there has thick, dense and straight hair. Not having straight hair seems like I was defective – super defective.
The following were the ideas that I used as a kid or until recently. It only lists the most absurd ones I could remember now.

Have you seen them yet? I was not even aware of them when 2 week back I spotted them. I was having a rather bad day as everything on my list that day was not available so, I got only this. I mean, say it, the black tube is kinda sexy...no?
Let's what their website says about this -
"5-in-1 BB CREAM has a soft, fluid consistency that allows for as little or as much coverage as required, without ever looking “cakey”. A single application is all it takes to achieve a sheer, natural look; repeat for more visible coverage"
And the claims -
5-in-1 BB CREAM, a skin perfecting, all-in-one foundation with a multi-performance formula:
1. first it smoothes and primes skin;
2. then it conceals and minimises imperfections;
3. evens out skin tone,
4. moisturises and nourishes skin,
5. and protects it against UV radiation and pollution.
Featuring a multi-function formula, beauty balm offers skin a host of benefits plus perfect skin in just one product. Hypoallergenic*, with a delicate violet scent.
SPF20 for effective protection from photoageing.
Deborah Milano 5 in 1 comes in 6 shades but only 5 are available in India - 01 Fair, 02 Beige, 03 Sand, 04 (Don't remember) and 05 Amber. For me its 02 Beige
Last time I promised there won't be any more pastels. Its December now and I haven't tried any dark colors yet! Then I found this. I got it quite some time back but then was not sure to use it.
Presenting a nail polish with rich pigments, pearlescents and optical effects all rolled into one -
L’Oréal Paris Colour Riche Le Vernis Purple Disturbia aka 502.
Last year when I came to know how magical beer is for hair after reading Malaika Arora and Catherine Zeta Jones, I forced Boy to save some for me after their beer party (which was too hard and required too much control for everyone), left it overnight to get flat and rinsed my hair with it. I simply could not stop praising my hair. It was shining with volume. The effects went off with the next wash. I smelled like beer (I hate beer smell) the whole day but I guess that's a small price you pay for beauty.
Cut to 2012 December when Park Avenue launched Beer Shampoo launched India's First Beer Shampoo. Park Avenue has been a Manly brand and never cared for women so, I doubt if it was even made for women! But, when I saw the bottle of this one and I knew I had to get this.
Ingredients
I am a complete no silicone (specially no SLS) shampoo person. Something that helped to stop hair fall - yes, I have NO hair fall irrespective of my super stress life. So, I was afraid to look at the ingredients.
I was amazed with how the lather was soft. Also, my scalp didn't got irritated like it does with SLS shampoos. Checked the ingredients and was amazed again - they really have better ingredients when compared to other drugstore shampoos. No SLS but SLES. Beer is marked as the 3rd ingredient. So, all in all - good.
While most of you from North India must be snuggling in your sexy overcoats and spending your night in your sift mink bankets, I am yet to hit by Winter Winter. The weather IS cold at 20 C but then its the one that makes you lazy and not the one that makes you wear overcoats. Ohh yes, I am still sad that I cannot wear overcoats here. Coming to the last pastel (I promise) I am wearing
Revlon Scented Perfume Nail Polish Gumdrop.
Revlon Scented Perfume Nail Polish - Should they not be Scented Nail Polish? This a range of DBP, Toulene and Formaldehyde free nail polish which is infused with aromas. The formula prevents bubbles, streaks and brush marks - the reason I love this and not because its scented.

I waited for registration to started again and jumped to select the 3 month subscription. I waited for the whole month and on 27th Nov, I got products from Sheiseido, Elizabeth Arden and Clinique - WOW!!
They also sent the a personal letter and a card for each product about price, details and how to use. This time they also have send coupon codes which can be used to buy the full sizes from them even if it was not in your box.
Meet Celeste. I got her from the New U Store. I might have many blue nail polish nothing like this. They are of real good quality. Thank god I thought of buying it.
Its a pastel blue and reminds me of Bourjois 1 Seconde Gel Bleu Water but that is more bluer. They are very smooth - neither too thick nor too runny. Dries quick and have a fun shades. Check out the swatches.
I clicked pics. I clicked like crazy.
My mom got irritated because I was clicking so much and yes, she does not know about the blog - not a single hint. No one in my office or none of my friends know other than boy and one sweet girl in NCR.
Actually, blog turned ONE on 1st Dec but I am posting on 2nd Dec because I spent the day clicking pics, collecting my new spects and eating. Reached home at 10 PM and after editing the pics here I am with you guys. After after some quick edits, I did the anniversary post.
Food is always a part of me celebrating anything and this was no other excuse.I went to rouge for a red velvet cake and macaroons(Check out the pic here). I also had a milkshake with a funny name - D K Bose! (In case you are not aware then there is a song and few things related to this). I have been there earlier and did a small post on them here.

The Rouge - Clockwise from Top Left - Tea cups with heart candle, Macaroon Mountain, Tea Set with Pots and Cups candle, Colored sugar inside milk bottles which are also used to serve milkshakes |
I also went to The Spaghetti Kitchen and was delighted to find two dishes that I thought I would never be able to eat again after I first had them in Bangalore in 2009. Its just Girellini di Pollo and Spaghetti con Polpettine but then not everyone can it do it the perfect way. I was skeptical but was amazed with the taste and quality. Girellini di Pollo is presented on a spinach bed which blended together perfectly with the mustard lemon sauce. Spaghetti con Polpettine was also amazing.
I have been to other Spaghetti Kitchen but it was just over priced normal food. This time I am amazed I will surely visit them again...very soon

I could not believe that it has been a year that I am blogging - seems like yesterday that I started this.
Thanks to all the readers and everyone who ever commented here. It means a lot to me.
I remember when within a few days of starting this blog, I saw 100 page hits and felt like happiest person alive. I could not believe then I used to get visits from countries that I was not even aware exists (The reason ClustrMaps is there.) I used to get up middle in the night to check if anyone from any new country has visited my blog. Then the next point when I lost my sanity was when I Google something and an image/link from my blog was on the first page. I still get the same pleasure when that happen. The hits then became 100 everyday and then 1000 per day.
Thank you again for ever dropping by, for following the blog, reading the posts, liking this blog. Didn't liked? Had any complains Shoot me a mail. Go to the contact me page. You can also contact me if you want to give any suggestions...any.....don't be shy.
And I repeat - Thank you readers. Won't have been possible if you weren't there for me.
Things coming up for you guys
