If you have skin with acnes or blemishes, you must have heard of Tea Tree. While there are products which have Tea Tree but the concentration have to be high enough to make an impact. So, why not use pure Tea Tree essential oil? Because for most, it is not easy to take essential oil and mix it with a carrier oil in the perfect ratio to get the best result. So, The Body Shop did it for us in The Body Shop Tea Tree Anti-Imperfection Daily Solution.

Price: Rs1,595 for 50ml
Packaging: By now you might have noticed that it is bigger than the generic size of The Body Shop serums. The bottle is shaped like the other oils (The Body Shops Oils of Life and The Body Shop Drops of Light) but those glass bottles are 30ml bottles, and this is 50ml. It comes with an easy to control glass dropper.
Texture: Almost like a mix of water and alcohol. It absorbs quickly. The alcohol and tea tree give a cooling effect. It does not leave behind any stickiness which makes it perfect even for daytime use. TBS recommends that it can be used as a serum for oily skin and pre-serum for others. But, as it does not feel heavy, I continue with face oils after using this.
Effect: This is true sense is a treatment product. You can see the results from the very first time. I personally find tea tree very effective against new acne, rashes, and skin concerns. Now, I have something to easily (and quickly) deliver the same goodness to my skin. Though they claim it be work against blemishes, Tea Tree has never done that for me so, I do not even expect it from this. Has it ever worked for anyone with blemishes?

Overall: First, I must respect that fact this is truly genius for lazy people like me. Just a dab of few drops of the solution after toner and it fights against acne (reduce size), reduce redness and rashes. Also, by The Body Shop standard, it is priced low. Most of the serums are around Rs 3000 for 30ml, but this is about Rs 1600 for 30ml. This solution pairs well with another new launch The Body Shop Tea Tree 3-In-1 Mask Scrub Mask (love it!!). As for me, Tea Tree has never been something to reduce blemishes so, I am not going to over-sell it.
