Shopping at Kuala Lumpur Airport (KLIA2 Haul Feat. MAC, Origins, Kiehl's, Etc)
|Shopping at Kuala Lumpur Airport (KLIA2 Haul Feat. MAC, Origins, Kiehl's, Etc)|
I had a 12 hours layover at Kuala Lumpur Airport. No, this is not a joke. And yes, I survived. If you need a guide on how to survive KLIA2, then I can help :D And maybe a post on AirAsia? :P
Anyways, one of the thing that I had to do was to shop. First, I went to the various shops only to realize that most stores were not giving the best of the deals. I wanted to try Origins. So, I entered Zon, The people at Zon were extremely friendly and allowed me to try the masks on my face. While I liked them, something was not feeling right. Like when you are aware where the jigsaw pieces fit, but the final picture does not look as it should. So, I called my dear friend, Rini (the one who suggested going to Colaba) because I was aware that she had tried Origins. She mentioned that she had not got much benefit from Origins which made me step away from the store.
Was it actually happening? When I wanted to shop the most, I could not find anything?
But, Rini suggested picking MAC. I did found MAC in Kuala Lumpur Airport and guess what? The lipsticks were for priced at just RM 70 (~ Rs 1250). That is almost cheaper than certain drugstore brands in India!!! So, I grabbed not two or three but four colors. I wanted to buy more, but I could not recall which shades I wanted to buy.

The SA realized that I a serious player and even showed me the limited edition goodies that she had safely tucked inside the bottom drawers. Bwahahaha. (Just one small note here: MAC is costly in Indonesia even at Duty Free but cheaper than India. But, the best deal for MAC is in Malaysia. If you know where I can get them cheaper then please comment/email)
MAC Vibe Tribe Collection Dunes at Dusk Gleamtones Powder and Modern Mandarin Blush
I also picked some perfume miniatures and a Kiehl’s perfume. I wanted the Fig one, but she only had Nashi Blossom and Grapefruit. For RM 80, I could not say no.
My friend also suggested me to visit a pharmacy. The best thing that happened was that I discovered Caring. All the brands that I ever wanted to try were all in front of me. It was better than a candy store for me.

While going to my gate, the Zon store was in my path. I wanted to skip, but I didn’t want to regret later. Also, the SA was super helpful. So, I picked few masks as well. (Not proud of going against Rini’s suggestion. Never)
Origins Clear Improvement Active Charcoal Mask, Out of Trouble 10 Minute Mask and Drink Up Intensive Overnight Mask
I also picked some confectionary/chocolates for my family while returning. So, this is all. If you liked the haul, let me know. I will soon do my Bali haul post (picked some local Indonesian Brands). Do share your suggestions and recommendations for what to shop for KLIA2.
