Fabindia Herbal Shampoo for Daily Use || No Parabens, No Sulphates

Fabindia Herbal Shampoo for Daily Use || No Parabens, No Sulphates || Review

Last month, I picked up a new shampoo introduced by FabIndia – FabIndia Herbal Shampoo. Being sulphate free, it definitely attracted me. In my battle against SLS, TBS Rainforest Shampoo has come as a winner. I have tried several shampoos that were sulphate free, but then none could make the cut. They either dries my hair, tangles them or are always out of stock. I was afraid of trying something new but, somehow the stars lined up in my favor when I decided to try this.

Price – Rs 490 for 250ml

Packaging – Flip top plastic bottle.

Texture – Super thick creamy texture. It is close to impossible to push it out of the flip top. I always open the cap and shake it like a maniac to squeeze the shampoo out (like one does for Heinz ketchup ....but maybe even more).

My Views -  FabIndia shampoo is super thick so, I always make sure to dilute it will around 50ml water. It foams well and cleans completely. I have been using it for a month now. I have faced no hair fall. It does not irritate scalp but instead soothes and calms. It neither dries nor tangles hair. It makes hair smooth as well. Highly impressed by the shampoo. I do not use any conditioner. In fact, I am not even using apple cider vinegar these days. Recently, I am using the Wella serum, and the combo is a bomb.

Final Verdict – I think I have might have finally discovered a replacement of The Body Shop Rainforest Shampoo. I am happy to see a comparatively economical sulphate free shampoo that does not irritate the scalp, smoothens hair, controls frizz, cleans thoroughly and does not cause hair fall. I am surprised to see how soft my hair is becoming these days. (The serum is also playing its role). It is costly compared to other FabIndia products, but I do not mind paying for better products. Highly recommend this shampoo.

Love,
Shayoni

Update 30 May '16 : A got another bottle of this and it is not as thick as it used to be. Now, it comes out easily even from the flip stop. But, it is still creamy.
