Forest Essentials BATH and SHOWER OIL Madurai Jasmine and Mogra Review
One of the first product that I tried and loved dearly is the bath and shower oil from Forest Essentials. The Madurai Jasmine and Morga variant is my favorite. I first for the trial size but it loved it dearly so picked the full size. It is perfect. I just have one small problem with this.
Price - Rs. 1,475 for 200ml. There is also a body massage oil in the same fragrance range for Rs 975, but that seems bit heavier than this.
Texture - Light body oil. It is absorbed quickly into both dry and wet skin.
Fragrance - Seductive floral scent. It is mild but has high sillage and lasts long. Everyone loves it including my Grandma! For the first time, she commented on the fragrance of any product that used.
Efficacy - Personally, I have almost stopped using lotions and creams. I do have them from travel purpose but on a daily basis, I prefer oils. I first picked this during summer and refreshingly it worked marvelously during that time. Even in winter, I love it. It has a silky soft texture that is easy to apply, and it is absorbed within seconds. There is no greasy or sticky feeling, and yet my skin is moisturised. The fragrance needs a special mention because it is what makes it more unique. Otherwise, I could have used standard almond oil or maybe even coconut oil. The fragrance is relaxing and seductive. Love it to bits.
My complaint -- Ingredients list is not complete. The label only lists key ingredients. Also, there is nowhere written on the website that it is mineral oil free. So, I have serious doubt about that.
Overall - I love Forest Essentials Madurai Jasmine & Mogra Bath and Shower Oil. I use it at night, and it seems like a great way to relax and unwind at the end of the day. The oil is a mix of healthy oils that are ideal for the more youthful skin. The oil also contains Vitamin E. The fragrance is perfect for all year round. Yes, it is priced on the higher side but good quality cold pressed and organic oils are generally costly. My only question is if is really 100% natural and free of mineral oils.
