Sally Hansen TRIPLE SHINE Statemint 260 Swatch and Review
|Sally Hansen Triple Shine Statemint Swatch & Review|
For quite a long time ( read: since April), I am trying to avoid the purchase of nail paints (expect the reds and pinks I got 3 months back during my wedding). Somehow, nothing seemed great or unique enough. But, I discovered this color standing on the shelves of Sally Hansen counter and I could not say no....in spite of the hefty price tag. Is it worth it?
Color - Sally Hansen Statement if a bright yellow with touch of green. More like chartreuse yellow.
Texture - Opaque even in one coat. I used two here. Not too glossy. I liked this 'triple shine' formula.
Stay - Fades around edges from second or third days but stays on. The shine also stays on.
Packaging and Brush - The outer cap can be taken off. The inner cap has the brush attached to the. The flat brush makes it easy to apply the thick opaque color. HIghly impressed with the brush.
Price - Rs 595 for 10ml (need to check)

Overall - I am happy that I discovered this beautiful shade of chartreuse yellow. It is completely different from whatever I have tried before. Sally Hansen Triple Shine has a great formula and texture. Unfortunately it fades around edges from second or third days. Even then, I like it. Statemint is my current favorites for toes (because nail polish on my toes hardly fades or chips). I would have got few more shades from this range but the price is off-putting.
