The Body Shop VITAMIN C Microdermabrasion Scrub Review
Around 2 months back, my skin was looking very dull and lifeless. The stress of shopping and running around all day was talking its toll. I needed something to work on my skin that could give instant results. The best deal was to use scrubs. Just weeks ahead my wedding, I could not try something entirely new for my skin. I actually searched my own blog to discover something that have worked for my skin. And then I discovered The Body Shop Vitamin C Microdermabrasion Scrub for Dull Skin.
I went to store just to buy that scrub but since they were running offers, I purchased 4 The Body Shop products.
Packaging – Flip top cap with plastic body. Travel friendly and spill proof.
Texture - It contains micro sized granules. The almost invisible granules are extremely abrasive and works to give a heavy duty exfoliation. As the base is very creamy, the scrub can dry up while using. It is better to add little water in between to make it last longer.
My Views - The scrubs takes off dead, dull and rough skin, removes oil and leave behind soft skin. If your skin is really very dull and you need to make it look awake and happy then this is something that you must try. The scrub is supposed to be used once a week. I really liked the results have even used it back to back with less effort on exfoliation. In fact, my tube might get over anytime soon. Extra sensitive skin might not like it.
Price - Rs 1495 for 75g
Overall – I really like the TBS Vit C Microdermabrasion Scrub. It exfoliates skin perfectly. I was not sure about the base being less creamy but now I have got the hang of it. After using it, I really could not use the creamy ones like Kama Kumkumadi Scrub. The price is really high for a face scrub so, I will definitely not purchase it back to back. But, I will watch out for offers. Really recommend this if your skin is looking tired and dull and you need to revive your skin for a special occasion. Highly sensitive skin should not use it. I used it earlier in sachet form along with two TBS face masks.
