Kama Ayurveda Rejuvenating And Brightening Ayurvedic Night Cream Review

Kama Ayurveda Rejuvenating And Brightening Ayurvedic Night Cream Review

Kama Ayurveda products speaks luxury from every detailing on the product packaging to every rare ingredient that goes into the the tub inside that packaging. As they a result, they are quite expensive. But, there is no stopping for people who needs the best for their skin. I got this during an offer last year. Here are my views after using it.

For months, I was glued to Kama Kumkumadi and could not think of using anything else. So, when this one entered my vanity, I wanted to use it on top of Kumkumadi. But, that way, I won't be able to write a proper review for this (Such dedication to blogging!). I was reluctant to skip Kumkumadi. Anyways, I used it with Kumkumadi and alone as well. And here is what I think of it.

Texture - This night cream has fluffy whipped cream texture. You need very little of the product. It absorbs easily but it is better to massage it a little bit.

Fragrance - Like Ghee. It can be irritating or too strong for some people. I tolerate every kind of herbal smell but somehow do not like this particular smell.

Packaging - Paper box packaging with intricate detailing. The night cream tub is glass with screw tub.  Not travel friendly. Kama Ayurveda does not provides the wooden spoon that you get with mridul (soap free cleanser) or kumkumadi scrub

Kama Ayurveda Rejuvenating And Brightening Ayurvedic Night Cream Texture & Review

Effects - Kama ayurvedic night cream is a rich compensating moisturizer for your skin without the greasiness. Make sure to use very a little amount otherwise you might wake up with an oily face. It does not irritates my skin at all. My favorite day cream is almost over. So, I used it whenever I think I need something more moisturizing for my skin during daytime as well.

But, other than moisturizing, I do not see any other effects. Like the effects which are visible when I use Kumkumadi. I do not see the glow or reduction in marks and acne or any improvement in skin texture.

Interestingly, one of my office colleague who is using this (and never tried Kumkumadi) saw reduction in acne marks, her new acne got reduced and her skin is way better now. So, you can skip this if you use Kumkumadi or something that really does wonders for you.

Ingredients - This is not 100% natural and does contains silicons.

Price - Rs 1195 for 50ml. It is bit expensive compared to most night creams in India. But, I have been using it for around 3 months on and off and I am still left with little less half of the cream. With daily use, it can easily last 3-4 months.

Available - Only at stores and their own online store

Kama Ayurvedic Rejuvenating And Brightening Ayurvedic Night Cream Review

Overall - Kama Ayurvedic Rejuvenating And Brightening Ayurvedic Night Cream is a great cream but nothing magical. If you are already happy with Kumkumadi or any other cream that works for you then do not try this.

But, if your skin is very oily and needs some pamper because of frequent break outs then you should try this. I am sure you will get positive results like my colleague.

I am also sad to see silicons and other chemicals in the ingredients list. For the price, I expected 100% natural ingredients.

I am not repurchasing this.

Love,
Shayoni
