The Body Shop Geisha Doll Lip and Cheek is the repacked form of their iconic Lip and Cheek stain.

Packaging - Packaging is without doubt the reason this is attractive. This is packed in a kawaii bottle in the shape of a doll. The drawings are not painted on the bottle but on a plastic wrap. The hair bun is attached to the doe tip applicator.

Color - Cherry red color with sparse tiny glitter which are visible only from close. The color is build-able. It can be worn as a wash of color to give a fresh winter glow to a full color for the bold look (I tried the full bold color here to show the color on my lips and cheeks)

Texture - The color is a thick liquid and seeps into skin real quick. It seems to give the color from within.

Application -

For lips - I try to build the color in layers. I give some time in between layers to make sure the layer underneath is dried properly. It does not takes much time (I give around 10-15 seconds as the color seeps in quickly). It gives a better color and lighter feel that way. If I take more and spread it then it gets bit difficult to get precise edges and the color feels heavy and bit sticky.

For cheek - Earlier, I used to dab the color from the applicator and blend with fingers but the color seeps in real quick and it gets tough to blend properly. So, now I apply the color and blend with a fluffy blush brush for a defined look. I literally keep the brush in one hand while the I apply the color from another hand to make sure nothing seeps in before I start blending.

Stay - It stays for around 4 hours on my cheeks even when I wear it as a hint of color. It lasts longer when I used more color. On lips, it lasts for 4-5 hours and fades after meals. Layering the color also makes it stay longer.

Price - Rs 1495 for 28ml. This is at Rs 750 for 28ml because of the offers now. The permanent Lip and Cheek is Rs 895 for 8ml. So, the Geisha Doll is almost 4 times cheaper than the permanent ones!

In fact, this is cheaper than the StreetWear Color Rich Lipsticks! StreetWear is priced at Rs 180 for 4.5 grams so, that comes to Rs 40 per gram. Body Shop Geisha Doll is Rs 750 for 28 ml that is Rs 27 per ml!

I am wearing three layers of TBS Geisha Doll on my lips and cheeks.
Other than that, I am wear Maybelline gel liner and brown eyeshadow as brow filler.
No other makeup :)

Overall - I recommend this 100%.

This is a great way to try out lip and cheek stain from The Body Shop at 4 times cheaper price than the permanent line of lip and cheek stain by The Body Shop. In fact, this is cheaper than the streetwear color rich lipsticks.

The stay, texture, packaging and formula is great. And the cute bottle just makes it perfect. It is a limited edition so, grab it before it goes out of stock.

Love,
Shayoni
