The Body Shop Early-Harvest Raspberry Body Scrub Review // Winter Skin Pampering

The Body Shop Early Harvest Raspberry Body Scrub Review

I see the scrubs by The Body Shop can be broadly divided into three categories - sugar, jelly and cream. I have tried the sugar and cream version (chocomania and vineyard peach respectively) and really wanted to try the jelly version. Blueberry one tempted me a lot but I skipped it. When I saw the early-harvest rasbperry on 50% off, I just could not resist anymore. The Body Early Harvest Raspberry Body Scrub is an absolute delight for senses in this winter.

Texture - The texture is jelly with loaded with minute walnut granules (which does the actual scrubbing) and bigger real raspberry seeds (which are softer, mashes easily and plays little role in scrubbing).

The Body Shop Early Harvest Raspberry Body Scrub Review

Overall - I really enjoy using it in winter. As the texture is watery, you do not need to wet your skin before using it. Hence, it is easier to use in winter (you do not feel cold with a wet body trying to scrub!). But, it works equally good on wet skin. These days, I am reaching out to this the most. The scrubs makes skin very soft and smooth. This also makes elbows and knees softer. The granules are not harsh on skin. You can scrub for a longer or shorter time depending on your skin needs. I absolutely love the smell (whereas I rarely like sweet smells; maybe I should have picked the raspberry lotion to go with it).

Do pick it up if you see it on 50% off. The budget alternate to this is the Oriflame Mint Raspberry Exfoliating Shower Gel (used it almost everyday during last summer). The difference is that the Oriflame one is foaming, needs more water and smells bit more fresh (because of mint).

Have you tried any scrubs from The Body Shop? Which one is your favorite?

Love,
Shayoni
