#DovePlay PART 2 - Indiblogger Event, Fun Games, Pretty Ladies in White and Freebies

Please read Part One before reading this. Done reading? Now, lets start...

On 11th May, around 4PM, after our driver figured out the entry to the banquet hall, we entered JW Mariott, Mumbai. It basically was a big hall with some food around one corner, a photo booth on another and registration in front. We entered our Indiblogger registered email address in one laptop completely clueless why. Also, we were already divided into teams and my team was Team 2. Swarnali was with me and she was also in Team 2. We went inside the hall to discover a hall full of lovely ladies all dressed in white! It was beautiful. And then I realized why they asked us to enter our ID at the reception desk. The names of people who entered were shown on screen like – Sweet&Bitter Stepped in a minute back! WOW...

We took out seat. When I turned back – I saw Samyukta of I Simply Love Makeup. I always wanted to meet her. I really wanted to talk to her but right then the event started so, I thought maybe later. (I am going to regret about this...)

And trust me – a lot went into planning the whole thing. Bloggers were pampered to T and we were the centre of attention. Our host was none other than Freishia Bomanbehram. She greeted us and we had small quiz etc and then we were asked to form groups based on our team numbers. That is when I met my team. And MAN I am lucky; all members in our team were jolly and fun to be with. We had to name our name based on a hairstyle; we all agreed on FRENCH BRAID. Vinita commented – “We have already won because we have Pallavi with the longest hair.” Pallavi, BTW have calf length hair!

#DovePlay PART 1 - Mumbai Diary - Travel, Shopping and More Shopping

3rd May

While I was in Sikkim, I got an invite for a blogger event happening in Mumbai. As usual, I rolled by eyes – these people! I am in Kolkata and not in Delhi/Mumbai. Actually, I receive a lot of invite for events happening in Delhi and at times at Mumbai and because I cannot go, I never even read the mail on urgent basis. In general, I do reply back later but never on priority.

6th May

As I was getting ready to rush to office after taking an important call at home, trying to mentally chalk down the to-dos for the day, I got a call. This was from Indiblogger and it hit me that this must be about the mail that I have not read yet. So, I told them that I am in Kolkata. Vineet continued that they are planning to arrange travel and stay for the event for few bloggers. He also told me that the event was on 11th . At this moment, I thought – who will grant me another day leave when the work load is literally breaking on my head and the election is also on 12th so, I said – Okay, I will get back to you. But, before the call got dropped, I checked the calendar handing in my drawing room 11th May = SUNDAY! SAY WHAAATT!!!!!

“Yes yesyes. I want to go” Oye, stupid girl! Remember what happened when you traveled on the same day in Baramati? You were almost dead and could not enjoy it as much as others!

“But, I was to go a day earlier.”

INNISFREE Camellia Shine Hair Essence with Camellia Oil and Essential Scent // Review

INNISFREE Camellia Shine Hair Essence with Camellia Oil and Essential Scent // Review

Right after Innisfree opened their first and only store at Khan Market, Delhi, I dream of being at the store...selecting products of my choice...smiling on own at the interesting twisted names....smelling the different ranges......and I can just wish.

Luckily, I got my paws on few of the products with loads of freebies in November and few more in December. So, from December, I have this great hair serum with me. I started using this after from January when my beloved L'Oreal Smooth Intense Serum got over.

Crabtree & Evelyn TAROCCO ORANGE, Eucalyptus & Sage GIFT BOX with Shower Gel, Body Lotion, Hand Therapy and Nail File REVIEW

Crabtree & Evelyn TAROCCO ORANGE, Eucalyptus & Sage GIFT BOX

This is from my first purchase from Crabtree & Evelyn after they opened their store in Kolkata. While, I wanted to buy a lot of things, but only this gift box caught my attention as it has everything I wanted to try with a nail file packed inside a reusable pouch. Plus, this was the very variant that I wished to try - Tarocco Orange, Eucalyptus and Sage.

Fragrance - With 'orange' in its name, you can guess the zesty citrus smell. Additionally, the eucalyptus and sage give it a herb grassy feel. The smell is awakening with a soft herb touch. The smell is mild and suitable for any time of the day.

Gift Box Details  - This gift set is called the 'Great Escape' gift box.

This Crabtree & Evelyn Gift Box contains travel size Tarocco Orange, Eucalyptus and Sage bath and shower gel, skin refreshing body lotion, ultra moisturizing hand therapy and a nail file.

There are several other gift boxes that are available at C&E so, you can surely get something of your liking. I was happy because I got the much celebrated hand cream in this box.

HAUL ~ Sigma Eye Makeup Brushes with FREE Pink Eyeliner Brush

It has been days that I wanted to buy proper eye makeup brushes. I decided to get some from high brands one. But, after all my 'research', I wasn't ready to spend Rs 2K (~40$) on a single brush at the point when I required 4-5 new brushes.

I was then hanging like a pendulum between RT brushes and Sigma ones. But, I stuck with Sigma because I want to keep the theme of my makeup brushes to be Black, Steel and Pink. The eye brushes from RT are blue BTW.

Postcards from SIKKIM ~ For the Love of Monastery, Prayer Flags, Waterfalls and Momos

Last to last weekend, I took a short trip with my Mom to the beautiful place of Gangtok, Sikkim. I generally don't like to travel to hill stations because I lived in Arunachal Pradesh for the fair share of my life. And the untouched beauty of Arunachal cannot be compared with anything. But, I had 4 days in hand and Kolkata was burning at 40 degrees centigrade with high humidity and so, we decided to visit Gangtok to get some relief.

This picture from Enchey Monastery is my absolute favorite picture. The cute boys have no expressions but the naughty little one managed to put a 'V' on the taller ones shoulder. And of course, the picture also has the prayer flags and prayer wheels. This monastery was established way back in 1909.

FOTD with L'Oreal Paris MAUVE CHERIE Rouge Caresse Lipstick | PLUS Rose Mademoiselle, Pretty Woman, Juliette Swatch And Review

FOTD with L'Oreal Paris MAUVE CHERIE Rouge Caresse Lipstick

Without a doubt, my favorite lipstick at this moment is  L'Oreal Paris Rouge Caresse Mauve Cherie. I use it everyday like there is no tomorrow. I think I am finally getting comfortable with mauvish and purple color. Maybe, I am still not brave to wear Revlon Shameless in public and this is my current favorite.

Green Camouflage Nail Art Without Tools Tutorial // Revlon Bonsai and Forest Green, Bourjois 23 and Rimmel Pro Super Wear Ultra Shine Top Coat

Green Camouflage Nail Art Without Tools Tutorial

I wanted to do a simple swatch and review post for Revlon Colorstay Bonsai but one thing led to another and this happened. I know this is not exactly what a person from Army will wear because the green from the Revlon Bonsai is extremely attention seeking!
