Skincare That Works To Remove Acne/Pimples
I receive a mail or two every week asking me on how to treat acne, how to remove to reduce the redness, how to reduce acne marks.....you get the picture. So, I decided to write this post about skincare than I use myself to fight against acne.
Before you start your fight, let me start with some gyaan (wisdom). Try to understand the reason behind those zits. Is it a temporary thing? Hormonal issue? Change in diet? Change in weather? Or maybe just once in a while thing because you tried some new skincare or slept with your makeup on? Try to attack the main reason behind it. For example, a year back, I used to get frequent pimples on my forehead. Later, I found that it was because liver issues. Liver works best when you sleep better. The pimples reduced a lot when I started to sleep properly! So, though the following will reduce the pimples but it is better to work from within.
You can check this face chart to see how acne on face can be linked with physical health.

Vedantika Anti Acne Mask for Acne Treatment
Vedantika Anti Acne Mask – This works against pimples. It is also great to use when you skin looks unhealthy and you feel that a new acne might pop up any time soon. It is also great when you have rashes and pimples. Your skin might burn a little and the rashes might look redder after you wash it off because that is not to be afraid of. Be sure that it is working for you. But, I will recommend this for mild cases. This is a natural and mild product. Vedantika Anti Acne Mask contains the crème de le crème natural ingredients and priced really low. Read the complete Vedantika Anti Acne Mask Review on how to use it to get all the benefits.

The Body Shop Tea Tree Oil for Acne Treatment
The Body Shop Tea Tree Oil – I am yet to get the hang of using essential oils. As they are extremely potent, you have to be very cautious about how to use it. So, instead of getting 100% pure tea tree oil, I got this with 15% tea tree. I wet a Q-tip with water and then dap a little of this to apply it directly on face. It has a cooling effect and feels very relieving.
Works best -
- New pimples which just started to show
- Reduce redness
- To calm and relax skin
La Roche-Posay’s Effaclar Duo Corrective and Unclogging Anti-Imperfection Care for Acne Treatment
La Roche-Posay’s Effaclar Duo Corrective and Unclogging Anti-Imperfection Care – Another interesting product full with acne fighters. If something is looking bad, red and maybe with a tiny head of its own, you use this! I have seen it to work on the nastiest ones like a piece of cake. (But, sometimes, it just does not work. So, I am yet to figure out the deal with this.) This also works in resurfacing skin after pimples are gone. It does make skin smoother. The packaging is nice with a pointed tube to point and apply. This is extremely potent so, you can use a little bit and spread it on your skin if you are looking for resurfacing. It might also cause irritation at times so, please do a patch test before applying. Wash off if you face any itchy feeling.
Works best –
- Bad and angry red acne
- For resurfacing skin back to normal after your pimples are gone.
Sudocrem Antiseptic Healing Cream for Acne Treatment
Sudocrem Antiseptic Healing Cream – Thanks to the high zinc oxide content, it works from pimples to rashes to everything concerning your skin. You must have Sudocrem with you all the time. I have seen it work like magic. I got some very bad red rashes all over my face once and this brought back my skin in 3 days flat. I found it works best when you reapply repeatedly.
- Nasty rashes
- Acne in any level
- Everything that might seems wrong with your skin!
