Shopping at Sephora Delhi ~ 2nd Time

I am back to Kolkata and still having the hangover of the awesome time I spent in Delhi and Chandigarh last week. The trip was under planning for long but there were last minute issues so, I was not sure if the trip would actually happen. Luckily, it happened! It was a personal trip to meet few of my old friends.

I shopped for just two days - once in Delhi Saket where I shopped from Sephora and Forever 21 and one day at Chandigarh. I also picked few things from Delhi Duty Free (wohooo!) but will talk about all that later.

For this post, here are what I picked from Sephora.

I was thinking of doing a proper research of what I wanted but I could do the same because there was some last minute issue. [Also, I had friends with me who do not understand the ABC of makeup. For them all lip colors = Red or Pink or Orange. So, no one needs more than 3 lip colors! Gasp.]

To make the trip to Sephora less painful for them (I cannot believe that I just said that!!), I picked up what was in my wishlist for a long long time -

NYX - Powder Blush - Bourgeois Pig, NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream - Amsterdam

NYX - Powder Blush - Bourgeois Pig (Rs 570) - I was sold just for the name first and then fell in love with the color. (Yes, names are important for makeup. Are the brands naming cosmetics with numbers listening?) I have even ordered it long back from B2N shop but they sent me something else in place of this one. So, never got the courage to order it online again. Happy to own it.

NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream - Amsterdam (Rs 570)- I wanted to own any one of these lip creams. When I swatched the colors there, I liked 2-3 colors. As I have never used the formula before, I settled for just one - Amsterdam. The staying power is not that impressive but I love the retro red color with orange tone.

I also wanted to pick the Burt's Bee orange cleanser but it was out of stock. The other things I wanted from Burt's Bees and Soap & Glory were also out of stock. There were few things that I had not heard of before but I had no time to google and read reviews there. So, only two things in my bag.

I also got a Sephora White card. Yippeee. But, no welcome gift. Booo.

I do hope Sephora also starts online shopping in India like Forever 21(Haul). It would be far far easier that way.

Love,
Shayoni
