Streetwear Color Rich Perfection Compact Review // The PUFF Makes a Difference

New Streetwear Color Rich Perfection Compact Review Cute Packaging

You might be aware of these cute packaged cosmetics that Streetwear (by Revlon) brought to the market few months backs. You can check the nail paints swatch and review here and the lipsticks swatch and review here. As a compact can cause skin issues, I decided to take my time for reviewing this.

Price and Other Players - Streetwear priced these Color Rich Perfection compact at just Rs 160 for 7gm.

The other compact in the market which are almost equally affordable are the Lakme Radiance Complexion Compact (At Rs 115 for 20gm, available in four shade and still the most used compact in India without any competition. Almost everyone has at least tried this once!)

Another choice is Rimmel Stay Matte Pressed Powder (Rs 230 for 14 gm, everyone raves about this. I find the packaging quite non-practical because there is no mirror, no puff/applicator and the lid comes off like a tub cap. How will you use it on the move?)

Feel and Stay – When you apply with the puff provided, the powder glides easily without any issues. It blends and mattifies skin like dream. The mattifying effect lasts for 4-5 hours (even when I stay outside). I really love the effect as it does not look dry or cakey but smooth. Also, the coverage is light to semi-medium and the formula is buildable. Another thing I noticed it that it does blurs out the pores which is why this gets a thumbs up from me.

Skin issues – None. I remove my makeup religiously everyday. I found no issues because of this compact.

New Streetwear Color Rich Perfection Compact Puff

Applicator - The puff makes the compact even better. I have tried applying with a bursh and I could hardly get any proper coverage or texture. But, with the puff, it works like magic. Even the costlier (but finer and better) Bourjois Healthy Balance Powder Unifying Powder does not provide an applicator.

Formula – This is talc based but the ingredients list is missing in the box. The power is not fine and after the top layer is used up, you will be able to see micro white bumps of talc resulting from improper mixing to the talc and the color. These tiny bumps does not cause any issues while applying using the puff as the puff smoothes down the formula.

Available Shades – Only available in two shade – Neutral and Beige. Neutral is for lighter and average skin tones and beige is warmer with loads of orange tone. Neutral is my perfect match.

Overall – If you looking for a budget compact for everyday use then I will definitely recommend this practical, handy and nicely packaged compact from Streetwear. There is a reason that this got featured in my July Favorites.

I am wearing Streetwear Color Rich Perfection compact without any other foundation/powder HERE.

If you have looking for some better and ready to pay more, then try Bourjois Healthy Balance Powder Unifying Powder
