[Review] Revlon Photoready Perfecting Primer, Airbrush Mousse, Power, Cleopatra Kajal and BB Cream

Revlon Photoready BB Primer Airbrush Powder Kajal India Review

It took me a month to review these babies from Revlon instead of the week I promised. And in the review you will exactly know why. So, for today's mega review we have the products from Revlon Photoready Range - Perfecting Primer, Airbrush Mousse, Power, Cleopatra Kajal and BB Cream  - almost everything your face needs. Okay, I missed lipsticks but I have those Photoready blushes which I got from US and reviewed long back. *wink*

Revlon Photoready Perfecting Primer 001 Review India

Revlon Photoready Perfecting Primer 001 Review

Revlon - Lightweight primer smooths and softens skin to create the perfect canvas. Reduces the appearance of pores and fine lines. Wear alone or under foundation. Award winning.

My Words - I am not a primer user as I hate silicon texture. Most of the times, I try anything new, I start getting pimple. And, not to mention the oily feel to get the 'glow' effect. So, I generally keep an arm long distance from Primer.

Luckily, this is this is different. Revlon Photoready Perfecting Primer give a smooth canvas feel. This is super easy to blend even when I am not wearing any moisturizers. Does not feel slippery like the silicon based primer. The white gel formula is light and feels like nothing is on your skin. I have used it as eye primer as well and I am happy with the result. The package is hygienic with a pump dispenser which is easy to control.

Revlon Photoready Airbrush Mousse Makeup 050 Medium Beige Review India

Revlon Photoready Airbrush Mousse Makeup Review

Revlon - PhotoReady Airbrush™ Mousse Makeup, an air-light makeup provides a flawless finish, whether it’s on camera or in person. The whipped texture allows you to blend evenly for undetectable coverage, leaving you with a smooth poreless complexion. The formula’s photochromatic pigments bend and reflect light to minimize flaws, leaving you with perfectly airbrushed looking skin in any light – indoors, outdoors, or under the flash of a camera. Oil free, fragrance free. Use alone or over PhotoReady™ Primer

My Words - First, let me tell you that this is not heavy though it looks so. Revlon Photoready Airbrush Mousse comes in a tin can with pressurized creamy foundation that comes out as frothy bubbly mousse. The forth takes time to settle down and in 30 seconds, you get the flat foundation with tiny bubbles left.

This one took me the longest to review because it contains shimmer. I could not wear this to office everyday! The shimmer is not chunky glitter but adds glow like a highlighter. My tip will be to stay away from harsh lights or direct sunlight while you are wearing it.

The coverage is sheer and I was afraid to build it more fearing that it might make me look like a disco ball.

Revlon Photoready Airbrush Mousse is light, does not oxidize and easy to blend. This does make my face a bit oily after 4-5 hours time so, I makes sure to dab some powder over it.

The nozzle always throws out much to cover your hands along with your face! W.a.s.t.a.g.e....The nozzle takes some practice to master. Also, the nozzle gets dirty very soon. The product is always left behind on it.

I am saving this of indoor parties in this wedding season when I just need something to brighten up by dull face.

Revlon Photoready Airbrush Mousse Makeup 050 Medium Beige Review India
The difficult to master Nozzle of Revlon Photoready Airbrush Mousse which always throws a bit more that need. I am yet to master this as I bring out a tad bit less that needed. The pains of being over conscious. Sigh

The Form changing Revlon Photoready Airbrush Mousse. LOL

Revlon Photoready Powder SPF 14 030 Medium Review India

Revlon Photoready Powder SPF 14 030 Medium Review

Revlon - Revlon PhotoReady™ Powder eliminates shine and evens skin tone. Photochromatic pigments bend, reflect and diffuse light to help erase flaws. A micro-refined ultra-lightweight texture with a soft, luminous finish.

My Words - Revlon Photoready Powder comes in a rectangular case. I have always used powders in round cases so, this was new for me to get used it.

The case houses a mirror and a slot for the brush. The brush is not hard or starchy but not suitable for the formula for the powder. The brush picks very less and make the whole process of applying powder time taking. If you have a heavy hand then this might sound like a good news as it will give you more control to layer and build.

The powder is fragrance free. It gives a light coverage with a mattifying effect. Good for a everyday powder because of light coverage. Its blends smoothly and does not become cakey.

Revlon Photoready Kajal 001 Carbon Cleopatra Review India

Revlon Photoready Kajal 001 Carbon Cleopatra Review

Revlon - Intensify and Highlight for a Smoldering Look. Get multiple on-trend looks with one dual ended pencil. The dark end’s rich color gives you an intense, bold look. The light end brightens and opens up the eyes. Use both ends together for an on-trend, smoldering look. Available in 4 exotic colors with complementary highlighting shades.

My Words - This Revlon Photoready Kajal is of shade 001 Carbon Cleopatra containing a black and a white liner. These are the creamiest of all liners and does not poke on your eyes. And they also bear the curse for being creamy - the tip breaks easily and lasting power is very low. I applied every tip in the book to make it last longer but I could not. Also, the tip breaks easily so, you have to sharpen these a lot. Yes, lot of product wasted. My Revlon Kajal is half the size it came in thanks to repeated sharpening. Plus, the black is not the blackest black.

Revlon Photoready BB Cream Skin Perfector Broad Sprectrum SPF 30 010 Light Pale Review India

Revlon Photoready BB Cream Skin Perfecter Broad Spectrum SPF 30 010 Light Pale

Now, this is one product I could not review extensive because it is far lighter than my skin tone. I have no intentions of looking like a Geisha roaming around so,  I did tried it at home at times. I applied very thin layer and one thing I could notice that it is moisturizing and smooth to apply. Another thing was that it get oily in some time. Using a powder over this is a must.

Revlon Photoready BB Cream Skin Perfector Price - Rs 550

Overall - I will rate the gel formula of Revlon Photoready Perfecting Primer as a must have as it worked real good without any issues. A little will go on for long and the shelf live is 3 years, so, consider this an investment!

Revlon Airbrush Mousse is a nice to have foundation that is light on skin and lifts your skin tone adding a glow to dull winter skin because of the fine shimmer. But, Airbrush Mousse is not something you can wear everyday.

Revlon Photoready Powder comes with a mirror and a brush. The powder is good for everyday because of the sheer coverage.

I will not recommend that Revlon Photoready Kajal unless you can wear only very creamy kajals and searching for a white one as good white kajals are tough to find in India. Till date, Revlon Colorstay Blackest Black will forever remain my favorite and what I will recommend everyone.

I could not extensively use the Revlon BB cream but I can stay it is great for dry skin and not a good idea for oily skin.

In general, these products are prices a notch higher than most drugstore brands so, please check with your skin shade before purchasing.

Keep Smiling,
Shayoni
