Left Top to Right Bottom - Maybelline Color Show Constant Candy 401, Coral Craze 221, Orange Fix 214, Fiesty Fuschia 213, Tangerine Treat 406, Keep Up The Flame 215, Buried Treasure 221, Shocking Sea 303, Denim Dash 503, Blackcurrant Pop, Devil Wears Purple 012, Mint Mojito 404, Tenacious Teal 301, Sweet Sunshine 405, Silk Stocking 501

Something that I thought will never come to the Indian market is now present in every beauty store. The Maybelline Color Show has a bigger price tag in US and UK compared to the mere 75 rupees here in India. While the local shops are retailing them at 70 INR, the counters at Shoppers Stop and Pantaloon are giving a discount of 15% if you purchase products worth 600 rupees or more (and 20% if you purchase for 1500 rupees).

My first Color Show was Wine and Dine. Last Saturday, I got little more excited and purchased 16 nail paint!! A lot....I know but I want more. Here are the colors I have–

Maybelline Color Show Constant Candy 401 Swatch

Constant Candy 401 – Creme finish, Opaque in 1 coat but wearing 2 here, pastel pale pink

Maybelline Color Show Coral Craze 221 Swatch

Maybelline Color Show Denim Dash 503 Swatch

Denim Dash 503 – Matte metallic smooth finish, Opaque in 2 coats but wearing three 3 here, blue with silver and teal micro shimmers. This is unique because such colors end up looking more teal than blue. Highly recommended.

Maybelline Color Show Blackcurrant Pop 402 Swatch

Blackcurrant Pop Blackcurrant Pop – Creme finish, Opaque in 1 coat but wearing 3 here, pastel lavender.

Maybelline Color Show Devil Wears Purple 012 Swatch

Maybelline Color Show Sweet Sunshine 405 Swatch

Sweet Sunshine 405 – Creme finish, Opaque in 2 coats but wearing 4 here, bright canary yellow. A tough color to perfect at this price as most colors are either runny or not this bright.

Maybelline Color Show Silk Stocking 501 Swatch

Silk Stocking 501 – Metallic finish, Opaque in 2 coats but wearing 4 here to get the finish, red toned tan with silver shimmers. You can skip this.

Price – Rs 75 each but I got half of these at 70 Rupees and the other half from Shoppers Stop counter at 63 Rupees. For this price and color selection, I will give full points to Maybelline.

So, far for budget nail colors, my option was only Colorbar but they are hiking their price and slowly stopping the flow of the budget products so, I will suggest do have a look at the Maybelline COlor Show colors before your next nail color purchase.

I swatched these yesterday and realized last night that I missed swatching one of the color. It was raining the whole day so, could not click that one. Le sigh.  I will update the other swatches in this post only so, I added 'and more' in the title.

You can check Wine and Dine here. It is a nice vampy color but runny for a dark color.
