The first day I saw the ad of this perfume on the back cover of a shiny magazine – I was in love with this. I never tried it but when I saw it recently in a store, I had to buy it. I wore it the very next day and everyone complimented – awww moment!
I think it’s a really awesome perfume. Its light but stays on for a very long time. Just 2-3 sprays in the morning and it stays on till late evening. It’s a very flirty smell swinging between sweet jasmine harmonizing with rose and the bitter citricy smell of Orange. A very nice day perfume which is light, does not give you head aches and stays on for a very long time.
Note from a perfume review website (really sorry that I forgot to keep the link *sad*)
Top notes – freesia, peach, orange
Middle notes – rose, jasmine, magnolia
Base notes – Virginia cedar, musk, amber
But now as I own the perfume I realize what a funny name it has. Imagine when someone asks me in office – wow…what are you wearing?
So, I always say – Marry Me! By Lanvin.
A Boyfriend cannot give it a girl because it will give her mixed signals. It will be a proposal in whispers and I doubt the number of girls who will adore such moments. It will be a bit awkward if your husband buys it. If you buy yourself then you might seem like a women desperate for marriage!
“Don’t leave me,” he whispers.
“Oh, for crying out loud—no! I am not going to go!” I shout and it’s cathartic. There, I’ve said it. I am not leaving.
“Really?” His eyes widen.
“What can I do to make you understand I will not run? What can I say?”
He gazes at me, revealing his fear and anguish again. He swallows. “There is one thing you can do.”
“What?” I snap.
“Marry me,” he whispers.”
