Physicians Formula Happy Booster Glow & Mood Boosting Blush Rose Swatch + Review

This post is a proof of how lazy I am. After living in my drafts folder for 3 months, it will be published. Reason why it is being published now? 1. I was having hard time swatching each color separately. 2. All my stuffs are still packed and so I cannot do any new post and take out stuffs from my drafts folder. *wink*

This blush was the reason I ordered stuffs from Physicians Formula (Read about the order here). I am still in love with the Shimmer Strip N*de I received and I used it every single day in February! The Cashmere Wear Bronzer is so far just for special purpose. …ohh I am so much in love with Physicians Formula!

My Words

Looks

Do I really need to say anything here? Just look at the pretty thing!

Packaging

It has a glass flip top (soo afraid that I might scratch it one day!). The blush is under it and then mirror and the brush. Very Similar to Colorbar Brush but because of the heart on it, it much prettied to flip to look in the mirror when the person opposite you says – it’s so pretty *happy dance*….ohhh Yes! its a Mood Booster (and also a shameless attention seeker *monster laugh*)

Brush

Super cute with the two toned color like the blush and the handle is the same as the body so full point for attention to details.  But, not very nice to work with just like the Cashmere Wear Bronzer Brush.

As a proof of my laziness, I clicked the pics when I make the heart nail art (Here).

Color

It comes in 4 variants – Natural, Pink, Warm and Rose (which I got).

Rose is bright pink with fushia tones actually a blush meant for olive and darker tone people. Complete no for the porcelain fair people. For me I felt it as a contrast to my yellow tone. The color is very pigmented and the shimmer is very fine. The hearts have a different color. Initially I felt that there are just 4 colors and I will swatch them individually. While swatching I realized that each heart is somehow different in the shimmer content than the other heart of the same color

How could I swatch the small heart? Also that will be completely useless and how will u pick the color from that small heart to apply on your cheeks? Using a eye-shadow blending brush?? *imagining applying brush with eye shadow blending brush....so much time taking

Because of the pigmentation I have to be very careful with this as even a big more color and I become the Birthday Clown! Also I felt that the color boosts little after the moment it is applied and it some time it starts looking vibrant. So I wait and take time while applying this.

Stay

Something about this that makes me unhappy. Maybe because I do not apply foundation or primers etc, it hardly lasts on me. There is no color after 2 hours and also the shimmer remains…urgghhhh. I do not mind reapplying because it looks so cute but then I will happy to carry it around and I might scratch it. Also if I apply over the left over sparkles, it hard to get the look I expect from it.

Repurchase?

I guess not. I am happy with the looks and after some time it won’t be cute for me anymore and I will surely happen (happens all the time with me. Feel something is cute – cute thing around – Do not feel that cute anymore)

Sweet Words

Love how it looks.
Love the pigmentation.
Love the smooth application.

Bitter Words

Hate the bad staying power.
Hate that I might over apply at time because of the sheer pigmentation.
