Palmer's Cocoa Butter Formula Jar - Savior for Dry Skin
My experience with cocoa butter was not good. Please don't judge me as my first product was some lip balm from lotus herbal with cocoa flavor. It had a very
Coming to the review, this time when I visited Kolkata I saw this tub. This time when I smelt it I realized how amazing the cocoa butter can smell. It was like being in the lap of clouds. So Damn relaxing!
What the company website says: Palmer's Cocoa Butter Formula Original Solid Formula, made with pure Cocoa Butter, enriched with Vitamin E, in a soothing emollient base, heals and softens rough, dry skin, helps smooth and blend unattractive marks and scars and tones skin. It is ideal for deep moisturization, including overnight treatments and is widely recommended for stretch marks during and after pregnancy. - But I think you can use even if you are not expecting...please nod :)
The butter is very very thick but melts just like butter on your skin as you rub it. And no you don't need to rub hard in case you are thinking. I apply them on my elbows, knees and other very dry body parts. In case you have loved Body Shop Cocoa Butter or Body Shop Shea Butter for very dry skin then you will definitely love this. This is thick and soft.
Here are the before and after pics. You can very well see the deep moisturization as claimed by the company.
Price - Around 360-400 INR for 3.5 oz when I got it from an importer in Kolkata.
Final Verdict - Very sweet for people with dry skin. Provide the right amount of moisture. If you stay in NCR then you can beat the dry weather with this amazing little tub.
Bitter for people with oily skin. If you love cocoa butter you can try the body lotion that comes in a bottle. Its like liquid but still thicker than Vaseline Cocoa Glow body lotion. I will do a comparative blog later.
Will I Repurchase - Just in case...I repeat..in case it does not last this winter (as a very little amount is required), I WILL BUY IT. Otherwise there is a next winter to enjoy....
Where to buy - In case you stay in Delhi then try in Kamla Nagar Market. I have seem them there. Not sure for other markets. In case you are in Kolkata then head to Vardhan Market. There is a guy who imports these little babies and sell them at a amazingly low price.
